Recipe: Black Bean Casserole

We're finally in San Jose, California - checked into our hotel and settled in for the next four days.  By the time you read this, we'll be exploring San Jose a little but anxious to go to the opening event for BlogHer 2014.  So, in the spirit of fun... I thought I would share one of my favorite recipes.

One of my all-time favorite dishes is Black Bean Casserole.  It's one of those comfort food dishes that is perfect for warming you from the inside out.  And, it's vegetarian!

BlogHer Conference Prepping

Everyone knows that when you go to a conference, you should bring your business cards.  Right? A conference for bloggers is no exception to the rule.  The only problem is I didn't have business cards.  Well, I had business cards for myself but since Mum and Dawn are attending... I felt it only right they should be packing cards as well. 

Since blogs tap into the creative part of life... mixing thoughts, writing skills, and artistic qualities that set your blog apart from the rest, I thought a little creativity was in order for our business cards.  I wanted them to still look and serve the purpose of a business card, but show a little gumption.  This is what I came up with...
