Organizing Life...


Unfortunately, I have a serious case of bronchitis so I've been going back and forth from my bed to the sofa since Friday.  Along the way, I've been hacking, dripping, and generally feeling icky.  I'm not sure if the bronchitis or the medicine that is making my brain feel foggy, but I've been unable to focus on work.  However, that hasn't stopped me from focusing on what I usually focus on during this time of the year... Organizing.

Fabulous Find: Trinket Dishes


I recently saw these trinket dishes and had to have one.  Actually, I ended up buying three.  I thought they would be perfect to put rings in or little bits and bobs.  Apparently Mum and Dawn agreed because Mum ended up claiming the purple crown and Dawn claimed the pink crown.  Luckily they left me the orange crown.  But I love little things like these to keep me organized.

These kinds of dishes are great for holding paper clips, push pins, and even spare change.  I've even used these little dishes to hold loose herbs before adding it to a recipe.  Fabulous!

Can you tell I'm obsessed with jars right now?  Over the weekend, the family went to Seattle.  We did a little shopping - okay, a lot of shopping - and I found me some jars.  Yes!

I live a life of organized chaos.  However, I'm trying to get better.  My probably is I don't like spending a lot of money on all those organizational gadgets and gizmos.  I prefer to refuse items I already have in clever ways.  Here are a few of those clever ways that I recently found while doing research.
