Well, Facebook will not let me access my account. Why? Because they do not believe that I am a real person. Yep. They think I'm made up. I'm not who I say I am. But, they're willing to let me prove it. I can either send them my mobile phone number so I can receive a text message to verify I am who I say I am (which would work if I had a texting feature on my mobile phone), or I can send them a copy of my government-issued identification. Like that is going to happen...
Facebook's explanation is they only want "real people" on Facebook. Interestingly enough, I cannot access my account to suspend my account. Funny how that works. So, technically I'm still on Facebook. I just cannot access anything.
So, I'm not bothering. There is no way I'm sending them a copy of my government identification, and Facebook has conveniently not included any customer service phone numbers on their site. Facebook isn't worth it. I'll see all of you over at Google+.
