Friend Makin' Mondays

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. Have You Ever?

1. Jumped out of an airplane?  No but it sounds like fun.

2. Lived alone?  Yep, but circumstances dictated I live with Mum and Dawn to help out with Dawn.

3. Met a celebrity? Yes, and in one instance I actually gave them a 30 minute computer lesson.

4. Said something to someone that you immediately regret saying? Yes.  Nobody's perfect.

5. Had a manicure/pedicure? Nope.  Never felt the desire to have one either.

6.  Gotten a hickey?  Nope.  I have always though hickeys were immature and give fair warning before any sort of potential hickey-making moment.

7. Owned a pet that was not a dog or a cat? Yes.  I had a fish once... One of those beta fishes.  It only lived about a year.

8. Been outside of your home country?  Absolutely.  I've been to several countries and intend to go to a lot more.

9. Kissed your best friend?  Nope.  The only best friend I've had that was a guy was gay.  And I've never considered any of my romantic connections "best friends."

10. Eaten food that fell on the floor?  Yep.  Luckily, 99% of them were in some sort of wrapper - like a banana or candy.

11. Met someone online? No.

12. Been on TV? Yes.

13. Had braces?  No, but I should have gotten them when I was in high school.  Unfortunately, we didn't have the money for them.

14. Gone skinny dipping?  No, though I've been with people who have gone skinny dipping.  I've never seen the appeal of it.  Most skinny dipping is done at night, and the water is just too cold.  Yes, I'm THAT practical.

15. Been to the opera? No, but I'd love to go.

16. Been caught making out by a policeman? No. If I'm going to make out, it is going to be somewhere comfortable and private.

17. Sung in public?  I do it all the time. 

18. Handed out candy on Halloween?  Every year.  Halloween is a big deal in our household.  Both my grams embraced the holiday with gusto, and it has passed down to my little family.  I love Halloween.

19. Been snowed in?  Yes.  I was snowed in for 3 days.  No one could get in or out of the neighborhood.  It was fantastic.  We had plenty of firewood, groceries, and toilet paper.  All you really need when snowed in.

20. Fallen in front of other people? Do it all the time.  I don't always pay attention.

21. Cheated on a test?  Most likely I did it when I was a kid, but I don't remember.

22. Regretted saying “I love you” to someone? No.  I don't say it unless it is my immediate family, pets, or something fabulous I just bought.  I've never said it to a boyfriend because I've not felt it.

23. Finished a meal in a restaurant and realized that you didn’t have your wallet? No, but that would be a horrible situation to be in.

24. Shot a gun? No way.  I don't believe in guns, nor do I believe the 2nd Amendment translates into everyone can own a gun.  I'm sure that is going to ruffle the feathers of many folks, but I believe in gun control laws.

25. Heard a song that was written for (or about) you? No, but I'm sure it would be hilarious if one was written.  It's a bit difficult to take yourself seriously when a song is written about you (or even for you).
