Tis the Season!

I love this time of the year, and these are one of the reasons why.  I love pumpkins... and squash... and all sorts of colorful, interestingly shaped gourds.  I don't eat them.  In fact, no one in my family likes squash, though Mum and Dawn love pumpkin pie and pumpkin cupcakes.  But for me, I love the color, shapes, and textures.

Look at these beauties! How can you not find them gorgeous?!?! I was tempted to by this entire pallet load, but aside from the fortune it would have cost me - I don't really have the room in my house.  So, I drifted over to these...

Fabulous pumpkins.  This year we've decided we're going to the farms and pick out our own pumpkins.  It's the experience that matters, plus I can take a lot of photographs.  At least a lot more than posed pumpkins - like these.

But even posed, they're still pretty.  Happy Tuesday!
