Hello Monday... Daffodils and Family

My aunt Barb came to visit this weekend.  Prior to her visit, we had only seen Barb twice in the last year - both were at funerals.  Before that, it had been five years since we had seen her or she saw us.  The lack of visits wasn't intentional.  It was simply that life got the better of us and business prevailed.  But no sense dwelling on lost time.  It was better to focus on the present, so we decided to take Barb to the daffodil fields and show her the area.

Hello, Daffodils! Whatever lack of sunshine there was - the bright and sunny yellow of those spring-time flowers definitely made up for it.

Hello Fields of Yellow... How can you not be in a good mood when you see all this yellow?

Hello waterfall... I love the sound you make and how beautiful you are in sunshine or rain.

Hello moss-covered trees... I could never live in a desert community... I need your green!  It makes me feel alive and makes life feel lush.  My aunt lives in pseudo desert area... Well, at least it is dry enough to not have moss.  That is one of the many reasons why I don't live where she lives.

Hello peacocks! You're always a great sight to see.

And Hello Kite Surfer... They do not have you where my aunt lives... I'm hoping to join you soon!

Happy Monday!
