A Day for the Birds...

Yesterday was definitely a day for the birds.  For the next few days we're suppose to experience some serious weather, so I decided to take Mum and Dawn out for a little drive - before the storms hit - and maybe do a little photography.  We have a few scenic routes we like to take when we go for drives, but we decided to take a specific route yesterday and came across a good mixture of bald eagles, heron, hawks, and falcons.  Here are just a few of my snaps from the day...

One of the many terrific things about living in the area I live in is all the fantastic wildlife.  And yesterday didn't disappoint.  In some cases, I would swear the birds were actually posing for my camera.
