An Unlikely Fan...

I discovered an unlikely fan near a large pond.  Sitting on a rock, I relaxed and enjoyed the over-cast day.  However, it didn't take too long before I heard the welcoming quack of a Mallard duck.  Looking down, I see this little guy waddling toward me with inquisitive bravery.  I don't know if he was looking for my to feed him or what, but something about me brought him running.

Even when I got up and moved many times - all around the pond - this little guy followed.  He wouldn't give up.  I didn't dare sit down on the grass to see if he was waddle right up to me because there was far too much goose poop on the ground, but I did kneel down and wait.  Sure enough, he came waddling around the bend and right up to me.  When he was within 2-3 feet of me, he would stop, cock his head to one side, and look me over.

I think I have a fan - either that or he just wants his photo taken.
