I have been thinking a lot about changes I want to make in my little house. I do this every six months or so... It's like an itch. Once I've changed things up, the itch has been scratched.
So, I've been on the hunt for ideas. I don't want your typical, cliche kind of ideas. I want something transformational. Like this coffee table. How fabulous is this?!?!? I'm completely in love.
And this table runner. I'm pretty sure I can create this one with little difficulty. All it would really take is plain fabric, a black Sharpie, and a ruler... easy squeezy.
But I really love this... Hammered-down spoons that are screwed onto a wooden board. These ones are hammered with customized words, but the hanger has so many useful purposes. Could hang hats, keys, bags, coats, aprons, pots, pans, etc... There is a multitude of uses.
What about you? If you were going to tart up a room, what changes would you make?
Two linen colored puong (sp?) chairs from ikea, a few chinese lanterns, gerbena daisies on the coffee table and a wall of photographs and books. Thats it. Can you tell I've been thinkin' about this for awhile?
