This weekend brought a rarity in these parts... Sunshine! So, I decided to grab my family and do a drive... getting a good dose of Vitamin D and maybe have a little lunch along the way.
Hello, Monday... Mt Baker... I love that you're covered in snow. Stay tuned because I plan on visiting you later this weekend. My camera bag will be accompanying me - of course.
Hello Pollen-Covered Barn... I love how you just sit there, surrounded by daffodil fields and looking absolutely fabulous in your wilted state.
Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Bald Eagle... I never, ever get sick of seeing you. There is something very reassuring about your presence.
Hello, Miss Heron... Thank you for letting me creep up on your and photograph your lovely self. Typically your skittish and fly away within a bat of the eye, but you stayed calm and still - allowing me to get a near perfect reflection in the water.
Hello, Fish and Chips... My sister loved your warm, lovely goodness. And there was so much food, she had the rest of you for dinner.
Hello, Turkey Melt... I'm so in love with you. Luckily, Mum ordered you and shared half with me (without the bacon - since I do not like bacon). Of course, I shared half my salad with her... That's way family does!
Hello, Sisterly Portrait... Isn't my little sister adorable? She's also brilliant.
Happy Monday!
Hi Jack,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog. I hope you enjoy your trvel. I'm tall too at 5'10. Hopefully your airline allows you to select seats in advance or you can always offer to take an exit row seat at the counter and gate because they often have to swap out people in these rows that are not able to operate the exit doors (children, etc.) Seat guru is awesome for looking up your seat options on your flight for best seats and size details.
PS I always love looking at your photography on your blog, but I seldom comment on blogs I read.
Thanks for the advice. I have two national and one international trip (so far) this year, and any tips I can get to make the travel more comfortable for me and the family is always appreciated. :)
DeleteYour photos are beautiful!!!! Blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susan. :)
DeleteGreat shots! I love the barn and the daffodils. It's still very cold here...we don't have any flowers yet...but soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kara. I'm luck to live in an area that has mild seasons and fantastic opportunities for going snap happy. :)
