Make Your Own Notepads

I'm being crafty again.  I know... shocking! But I thought I would have a little fun and create some customized notepads. So here is how I did it...

You'll need binder clips, paper, thicker more decorate paper for a cover and backing, blue, a sponge brush, and a paper cutter (or scissors).  Since I'm not particularly good at cutting in straight lines, a paper cutter always works best for me.

The glue I used was Aleene's Tacky Glue.  It takes longer to dry, but it dries clear and you can peel the sheets from the notepads more cleanly than if you used simply Elmer's Glue.  Also, the glue is thick enough to not slip between the pages and glue more of the surface of the pages - making them unusable.

Cut the sheets of pages to the desired size.  I went fancy and printed images of my wings logo on the pages.

I use the sponge brush along the top of the paper (which is bound and held in place by two binder clips) to spread the glue evenly.

Then I just let it sit.  It's best to let it sit for 24 hours - just to be sure.  Once the time has passed, remove the binder clips, and you're ready to go.

I did three different notepads.  The orange one is for me (of course), the purple, swirly, and glittery one is for Mum, and the blue (and equally glittery one) is for Dawn.  The pages inside all have the wings design - only each match the cover color.

And that is how you make customized notepads.

Happy Wednesday!
